Me: What did you have for lunch?
Trevor: Meat soup.
Me: Was it chili?
Trevor: No, it was hot.

Funny things kids say, of course

We parked next to a car that had fuzzy dice hanging on the mirror, only black with white spots. A few days ago we had been playing dominoes.
Noel: Look, there's vamanos (with a perfect Spanish accent) in that car.
Later on, in the tub, the kids were having a contest for the "cleanest, shiniest" face. Trevor insisted we find a real judge.
Trevor: Get out the sledgehammer! (Just think about this one.)
